Foragerium Terms & Conditions
Thank you for booking with Foragerium. By completing your booking, you agree to the terms and conditions below.
1. Definitions
- Provider: Foragerium (operated by Szymon)
- Client: Individual or organization making the booking
- Event: Foraging courses, workshops, or other experiences provided by Foragerium
2. Booking Conditions for Public Events
Payments
- Full payment is required to confirm your booking.
- Events will proceed in most weather conditions, but in cases of severe weather, Foragerium reserves the right to reschedule or cancel. If an event is canceled by Foragerium, you may either reschedule or receive a full refund.
Workshop Instructors
Workshops may be led by Szymon or another qualified instructor approved by Foragerium to ensure a high standard of guidance.
Cancellation by Client
- 28+ days notice: Full refund.
- 15-27 days notice: 50% refund.
- 14 days or less: No refund available.
- Gift Vouchers: Valid for 12 months. Vouchers are non-refundable but may be transferred to other individuals or Foragerium events if redeemed within the validity period.
3. Booking Terms for Corporate Events
Booking Confirmation
- Written confirmation (email or letter) of agreed event dates and fees constitutes acceptance of these terms.
Payment Terms
- A retainer fee is due 28 days before the event. For bookings made within 28 days of the event, the full payment is required upfront.
Client Cancellations
- 90+ days notice: 10% cancellation fee applies.
- 28 days or less: 50% of the total fee is charged.
Provider Cancellations
- Foragerium may cancel or reschedule events due to unsafe conditions, illness, or unforeseen events. If this occurs, clients will be offered alternative dates or a full refund. Foragerium is not liable for any additional costs related to travel, accommodation, or other pre-arrangements.
4. Website Usage
The information on Foragerium’s website is intended for educational purposes. We encourage safety in foraging practices, but Foragerium is not liable for any actions taken based on this content. Any external links are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement or responsibility for third-party content.
5. Guidelines for Safe Herbal Use and Foraging
Foragerium encourages a safe approach to foraging and herbal practices:
- Consult a qualified healthcare professional if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication, or planning to use plants for medicinal purposes.
- Conduct a patch test for 48 hours on external products to check for potential allergies.
- Avoid using herbal remedies with young children unless guided by a medical practitioner.
- Always verify plant identification, adhere to ethical foraging practices, and forage with caution.
6. Liability
Foragerium prioritizes safety but cannot accept liability for personal injury, loss, or damage to belongings. Clients participate at their own risk, and Foragerium holds public liability insurance to cover its responsibilities.
